NFA Crew Team: Switching Lanes and Preparing for Strike(s).. Lots of them..

Newburgh, NY – The NFA Varsity Crew Team is getting together a bowling team for the “Kids Bowling Party,” to benefit the Newburgh Jewish Community Center, on Monday January 21, 2013 (Martin Luther King Day), from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at Pat Tarsio Lanes, 173 South Plank Road, Newburgh. (You can, Too!) “This is just one more way for the Crew Team to give back to the community that has so generously come out and supported us,” said Team Mom Juliana LoBiondo. “Through the donations of the Newburgh community, we have kept our team alive, and we will support as many Newburgh community groups as we can, particularly where the focus is on children.” While this is a “Kids Bowling Party”, all ages are welcome, said Sharon Levinstein, who is helping with the event, and also had two children on the 2012 NFA Varsity Crew Team, Michael and Aliya Levinstein (Captain, NFA Girls Varsity Crew Team; Captain, NFA Girls Volleyball Team; and Section 9 Scholar Athlete of the Year Award, 2012). One more sibling, Rebecca Levinstein, a member of the Newburgh Rowing Club, is hoping to follow in the family tradition by trying out for the NFA Crew Team this spring. Said Rebecca, “I have been attending JCC programs since I was 3 years old. I encourage all to attend this wonderful event. It's a great way to spend a day off from school with fun, food, and friends. You can't get much better than that." Her brother, Michael Levinstein added, "I'm looking forward to spending the afternoon with my friends.
